The incorporation of the SEPs into the new Science Standards provides a solid foundation for meaningful Physical Science instruction in the ML classroom. In conjunction with the WIDA ELD Science Standards, MLs experience science as framed by the SEPs in the new standards and develop the associated academic language underlying these experiences. Examples from the Physics standards of Physical Science will be explored through the lenses of the SEPs and the WIDA ELD Science Standards.
