Integrating mathematics within the science curriculum fosters a deeper understanding of the content. The introduction of scientific concepts with a driving phenomenon strengthens students’ mathematics through modeling and analyzing data. Integration across these two disciplines builds collaboration, communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, and content knowledge. In this session, we will share how to effectively integrate math and science focusing on student data collection, analysis, and developing models.
