This presentation explores AI's influence on student learning in biology at Beddingfield High School, Wilson, NC. It examines AI's impact on vocabulary development and engagement during inquiry-based learning. The experimental group used ChatGPT alongside traditional learning supports, while the control group relied solely on conventional aids. Initial findings reveal no significant statistical differences in outcomes between groups. Yet, certain engagement metrics indicate promising trends that warrant further investigation with larger, more homogeneous samples.
