Explore ways to tailor instruction so that diverse learners can apply science and engineering practices, foster deeper understanding, and develop skills across all ability levels. The session emphasizes practical tools and resources for accessing the SEPs and NC science standards by creating inclusive, hands-on learning environments.

This session addresses the new NC Science standards through an AST lens focusing on four core practices grounded in STEM equity. Explore how to plan for student engagement, elicit ideas, support conceptual change, and scaffold reasoning and articulation of evidence through facilitation of meaningful science talk that amplifies all student voices.
