About me
I am an educator with NCDPS in the division of Juvenile Justice. It is vital that we at DJJ continue to find safe alternatives to hands on activities for our student population. Due to policies and safety standards, students are unable to participate in a number of activities that are regularly performed in a public-school setting. Additionally, they are not permitted to have an email address, so they are not able to access a number of online resources. It is my goal to gather information on hands on activities that are safe, engaging, and do not violate the policies used to protect juveniles. Please let me know if you have any ideas or tools that are low cost, and do not require a large number of tools, etc.
