Ambitious Science Teaching (AST) framework shapes instruction for joyful, rigorous and equitable science learning. This session addresses the new NC Science standards through an AST lens focusing on four core practices grounded in STEM equity. Explore how to plan for student engagement, elicit ideas, support conceptual change, and scaffold reasoning and articulation of evidence through facilitation of meaningful science talk that amplifies all student voices.
