Developing Models for Effective Science Instruction w/ Discovery Education

Attendees will experience and explore how Discovery Education incorporates the Science and Engineering Practices that are part of the new North Carolina Science Standards with a specific focus on developing and using models for students to demonstrate their understanding of concepts.  This will be an interactive session for attendees with lots of groups projects and hands-on experiences.
