Data collection sensors and probes allow students to quickly and easily collect and visualize data. This session will focus on incorporating this equipment into rigorous, student-centered science instruction using the Science and Engineering Practices (SEPs). During this session teachers will get an overview of equipment options, experience a model lesson incorporating sensors/probes, and work in groups to discuss how to incorporate content-specific sensor/probe investigations into lessons. This session is not focused on the technical aspects of using probes.
